I always loved art, I been drawing since I could remember. I honestly never thought about becoming a tattoo artist until I finish high school and wanted to get money doing art, I went to a tattoo shop and asked what I needed to do to learn.
Every tattoo is a new challenge, it always comes to what can I do to make it look better. Lately I been doing bigger pieces, still fine line but bigger and they have become some of pieces I am the proudest.
The caring for a tattoo its pretty easy, caring during the first month or so will decide how your tattoo will look. Why would you pay and go thru pain for something that you will not properly take care of.
For me as a fine line tattoo artist, I always make sure to tell my clients that they need to give their new tattoo some extra love, as it isn’t a regular tattoo with thick lines and bold shading. Such as no sweating, no soaking, no swimming for the next 3 weeks if possible.
Don’t be nervous, do your research in the style and design you want to get. Nowadays with social media, it's so easy to get inspired and find an artist you really like. Ask for a consultation if you want more reassurance, and it gives you a chance to meet your potential tattoo artist and brainstorm together.
